Based on the reviews, the target customer for this product would describe themselves as "new moms" or "busty" body types, looking for a bikini that is durable, can't easily be pulled off by the little one and stays in place during watersport activities.
Top: high neckline of tankini top, doesn't show cleavage, offers good support, full coverage, removable molded cups
General: good price point
Top: missing an adjuster on the buckle strap in the back to allow for more flexible sizing
Bottoms: run small and are of rather skimpy quality compared to the top, elastic lining on the leg holes is digging into skin & creating bulges on the thighs
A common customer dislike was the missing "tummy control", what's that about?
Tummy control describes an added panel on the bottoms that is used to hide belly fat without creating bulges or flappy pieces of skin hanging over the edges.
This panel is made from power mesh and should fall below the hips to avoid riding up when walking. Regarding size, it is OK to cut off 1 size from the outer side seam, not too much or it will pull funny. Simple rule is do not cheap out on the fabric and fit tests.
Some customers mentioned bottoms running smaller than tops, how can this be avoided?
If seller knows their clientele then make sure to find the fitting models that match these body types. Also selling as separates helps avoid this common problem.
Customers complained about the bottoms elastics digging into their skin, creating unflattering bulges.. how can we avoid that?
Use thicker & softer elastic and make sure to provide a size chart so the customer does not pick a too small size.
